For the team community service project, Crespi Water Polo volunteered at the Catholic Swim Meet Finals this past Sunday, November 14, 2010 at the San Fernando Pool. Over twenty-four players helped time each lane that consisted of hundreds student swimmers from the San Fernando Valley Catholic schools. Having a huge swimming and water polo background to boot, the boys assisted anxious and nervous kids by giving them advice and mentoring them for a few moments before they stepped up on the blocks for one of the biggest races of their young lives. Many compliments were given by the parents of those successful swimmers for being so kind to their child. The Crespi Water Polo players look forward to and are excited about assisting in any capacity again next year.
